Students :

CAOS takes students under three categories, namely, M.Tech. (Climate Science), M.Sc. (Engg.) and Ph.D. We encourage students with Batchelors and/or Masters degrees in Engineering and the Physical Sciences, who have an interest in Atmosphere-Ocean-Climate Science, to apply to our Centre. Additional information about CAOS can be found on our webpage. Selection of students is based on an interview. To be called for the interview, passing a national examination such as GATE, CSIR/UGC JRF or the entrance examination conducted by IISc is necessary. Faculty :

CAOS welcomes applications for Faculty positions from Indian nationals who are exceptionally bright and motivated with an established record of independent, high quality research and commitment to teaching.

A Ph.D. with working experience in an area related to Atmospheric and/or Oceanic and/or Climate Sciences is required. There is also an interdisciplinary programme in Earth Sciences at IISc, and applicants whose field of interests lie in the Earth Sciences may apply through CAOS.
